Owen Sillinger

Sillinger is a story of persistence paying off, as he made his NHL debut for Columbus on Jan. 9 at the age of 27. However, there’s not much else here beyond it being noteworthy to get his first taste of the NHL at that age. He had no points or shots in 13:09 of ice time and didn’t make another appearance for the Blue Jackets. Instead, Sillinger had 11 goals and 29 points across 44 regular-season outings with AHL Cleveland in 2024-25. He’ll turn 28 on Sept. 23 and is still with Columbus after inking a one-year, two-way contract over the summer. Look for him to spend most, if not all, of the upcoming campaign in the minors.
