2025 Fantasy Outlook
Mrazek had moderate success in 2024-25, going 12-21-2 with a 3.35 GAA and a .891 save percentage over 38 games between the Red Wings and the Blackhawks. A deadline-day deal sent him to Detroit, where he quickly took over the No. 1 job in goal before injuries kept him sidelined for most of the last month of the campaign. Mrazek was then flipped to the Ducks at the NHL Entry Draft, giving him more of a clear role in 2025-26. He'll be the backup behind Lukas Dostal in Anaheim, with Mrazek expected to get around the 30-game mark. Playing for a team trying to climb out of its rebuild means his numbers are unlikely to improve. Read Past Outlooks

Mrazek's 18-31-4 record didn't stand out in 2023-24, but his game sure did. With two years of injuries behind him, Mrazek kept his young squad in almost every game. Mrazek's energy and enthusiasm on the ice provided real leadership to a team that was outplayed most nights, and he was the team's MVP of the season. He's signed for two more years and could start 50-55 games. Mrazek is a tough fantasy play if your league heavily weighs wins, but may offer more value in other formats.
