Kochetkov might still see playoff starts after coach Rod Brind'Amour told reporters Thursday, "I think everything is on the table. Health is going to be a big question, staying fresh and all of that. It's nice to know that we have two guys that are playing at that level," Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

It was Frederik Andersen who was in the starter's crease at practice Thursday, which would normally be an indication he'll start ahead of Kochetkov. The Canes had plenty of success down the stretch switching between the two backstops, but if Andersen succeeds early on in the playoffs, it's hard to see a scenario in which the team will give Kochetkov a start.
