Andersson wasn't too negatively affected by the Flames' decline last season, as he was able to score 11 goals and add 38 assists. His 24:05 of ice time cemented his status as the top blueliner on a team not short on defensive talent. Going into the 2023-24 campaign, the smooth-skating Swede remains a threat on the power play, and while he may not match his career-high 6.9 shooting percentage from last year, his assist numbers should rebound if the Flames can collectively find their scoring touch again. He's not an overly physical defenseman, but he's blocked 125 and 136 shots in the last two seasons. Andersson shouldn't be the first rearguard off the board in fantasy, but his production and role should make him a top-120 pick this year in most formats.
