The 21-year-old (22 on Sept. 4) also showed some offensive potential in the AHL with 18 goals and 37 points across 56 regular-season outings with Coachella Valley. Winterton is likely to spend the bulk of 2025-26 in the minors, but his willingness to play a physical game might result in him being a decent source of hits if he finds himself in a bottom-six role with Seattle at some point during the campaign.
