The Red Wings' crease isn't as crowded as it has been in recent years, but that doesn't mean Cossa will be a full-time NHL option in 2025-26. He should still get a chance at some point this season, as the combination of John Gibson and Cam Talbot offers plenty of concern for injuries. Cossa went 21-15-5 with a 2.45 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 41 regular-season games with AHL Grand Rapids last season, and he also won his NHL debut, which came in December in a relief appearance.
