Latest Fantasy Rumors
Future Pens' No. 1?
Murashov has been impressing Penguins' veterans throughout camp and looks poised to be the team's No. 1 netminder sooner rather than later, Josh Yohe of The Athletic reports Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Yohe was very cautious in his prediction for Murashov, pointing out that the plan remains for the netminder to spend 2025-26 in the AHL, but there seems to be a wave of admiration for the youngster that could see him take over the starting gig in Pittsburgh in the near future. The Pens are committed to Tristan Jarry at a $5.38 million cap hit for the next three seasons, but fantasy players shouldn't expect that to stop the team from giving Murashov the crease when he is ready.
