Metsa hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he'll join the Sabres to provide additional depth after Ryan Johnson was sent down Thursday. It's not yet clear whether Mattias Samuelsson (upper body) or Michael Kesselring (lower body) will be able to suit up Saturday against Florida, but Metsa will be a candidate to see playing time if they're sidelined.
