2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bolduc flashed his talent and potential in his first full season with the Blues, scoring 19 goals, adding 17 assists and finishing with a plus-20 rating. He did this despite averaging just 12:48 of ice time, but he did finish the year on the Blues’ top power play, producing seven goals and five assists with the man-advantage throughout the season. Scoring nearly 20 goals from a third-line role is impressive, but things may be easier after he was traded to Montreal, a team that has just three clear top-six wingers. A strong start to the year could allow Bolduc to blossom into a fantasy-friendly power forward, though a slow start could see him confined to the bottom six. He'll likely have a harder time getting power-play minutes with the Canadiens, so any gains he makes on offense will likely have to be from his even-strength production. Read Past Outlooks

Finds back of net in Montreal debut
Bolduc scored his first goal of the season in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
ANALYSIS
After coming over from the Blues in a trade this offseason, Bolduc wasted little time making his mark with the Canadiens, giving his new team a 2-1 lead early in the second period as he banged home the rebound on a Brendan Gallagher shot. Bolduc skated on the top power-play unit in the Habs' opener alongside the likes of Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield and Lane Hutson, and if he can hang onto that assignment, the 22-year-old will be in prime position to top the 19 goals and 36 points he amassed over 72 regular-season games with St. Louis in 2024-25.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Getting his first taste of NHL action in 2023-24, Bolduc made a decent impression with nine points and 38 shots on goal over 25 games. While that amount of action will deny him eligibility for the Calder Trophy, Bolduc has an excellent chance to stick on a Blues roster that is lacking in proven depth. That said, it's not a given he'll play, as he's not a particularly aggressive forward, so a bottom-six role wouldn't suit him. Bolduc may need some more time with AHL Springfield, but he should be near the top of the list for injury replacements. It's possible he could chip in 20-25 points if he gets enough games to get comfortable at the NHL level.

Bolduc is projected to make his NHL debut Thursday versus the Islanders, per Lou Korac of NHL.com.
ANALYSIS
Bolduc skated on the second line alongside Jake Neighbours and Brayden Schenn during Wednesday's practice, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports. If that ends up being the rookie's assignment versus the Isles, he'll be put in a great position right out of the gate. Bolduc has eight goals and 23 points in 48 contests with AHL Springfield in 2023-24. The 20-year-old was selected with the No. 17 pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.
