Makes history in debut loss
BantamweightUFC
September 13, 2025
Pereira lost to Montserrat Rendon via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 27-30) at UFC Noche on Saturday in San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
Born December 20, 2005, Pereira became the youngest fighter on the UFC roster the second she stepped into the Octagon. Beyond that, it didn't go particularly well. Neither woman landed any notable offense, but it was Rendon that stayed aggressive throughout, while Pereira remained passive in letting the fight come to her. Given her age and the fact she entered the evening with all of six fights on the regional scene on her resume, it's surprising the UFC elected to hand Pereira a roster spot outright as opposed to having her earn her way on Dana White's Contender Series.

Booked for debut at 19
BantamweightUFC
July 9, 2025
Pereira has been signed by the UFC and will make her debut in a bantamweight matchup against Montserrat Rendon at Noche UFC on Sept. 13, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Pereira is a perfect 5-0 on the regional circuit, last appearing in December of 2024 under the banner of Cage Masters FC, where she won a decision. The 19-year-old's prior four wins have all been via stoppage. She now takes on Rendon, who last appeared in in the UFC in March of 2024, pulled out of a fight later that year and hasn't been heard from since.
