Will take on Brahimaj
Vanderford will face Ramiz Brahimaj in a welterweight bout at UFC 320 on Oct. 4, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Vanderford defeated Nikolay Veretennikov via TKO in his UFC debut on Feb. 22, and the former Bellator star will have a second opportunity in the promotion. In the worst-case scenario, he'll be a depth addition to the welterweight division, but a win here against Brahimaj could boost his status on the roster.

Wrestles way to debut victory
Vanderford defeated Nikolay Veretennikov via TKO (punches) at 4:13 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Seattle.
ANALYSIS
A long-time member of the Bellator roster and perhaps best known as the husband of Paige VanZant, Vanderford finally got his UFC opportunity here and took full advantage. He fired off four takedown attempts in the bout, landing two and picking up 7:21 worth of control time. Vanderford was eventually able to pin Veretennikov's arm behind his back and land countless unanswered blows until referee Kevin MacDonald pulled the plug. It's fair to wonder how Vanderford will perform when the takedowns aren't landing, but he looks like a nice depth addition for the company.

Quick booking after UFC signing
Vanderford has signed with the UFC and will take on Nikolay Veretennikov in a welterweight matchup at UFC Seattle on Saturday, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Vanderford is a former Bellator title contender who is arguably most well known for being married to former UFC fighter Paige VanZant, and he'll now join the latest run of former Bellator fighters to catch on elsewhere. He suffered back-to-back losses to end his time with Bellator, but fought under the LFA banner last October and picked up a win over Victor Romero. He now takes on Veretennikov, who was given a UFC chance despite a Contender Series loss, and the end result was a split-decision defeat to Danny Barlow last August. After competing much of his career at middleweight, Vanderford last fought at welterweight, but he'll give up slight height and reach advantages to his opponent.
