ANALYSIS
This fight was closer than the final scorecards would lead you to believe, but Hadley definitely didn't deserve to win, and it's a crushing setback for the man who entered as a -200 favorite. The lone Hadley highlights of the evening were a pair of deep Round 2 submission attempts. He might have got the stoppage had Durden not been saved by the bell in the frame. Other than that, Hadley had zero answers for the grinding style of his opponent. Jake had a ton of momentum upon his May 2022 arrival in the company, but Hadley's 2-2 record in his first four UFC bouts suggests there's little to be excited about here.

Hadley was supposed to fight Tagir Ulanbekov, but the latter withdrew because of an undisclosed reason. Hadley's new opponent is scheduled to fight Bruno Silva on Sept. 23. That might still happen if Durden can defeat Hadley and improve his winning streak to four, double the number of consecutive wins the latter has currently.
