Jasmine Jasudavicius

Canada

Rolls through former champion
FlyweightUFC
May 10, 2025
Jasudavicius defeated Jessica Andrade via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:40 of Round 1 at UFC 315 on Saturday in Montreal.
ANALYSIS
Many were shocked Jasudavicius found herself upwards of a -300 favorite against a former UFC champion. It turned out to be nowhere near a high enough number following what was the best performance of her career. Jasmine has little power and her stand-up skills are average at best, but she's a relentless wrestler and is supremely dangerous when she gets you to the mat. She blasted Andrade to the ground without issue and after some unanswered blows, transitioned to the rear-naked choke which closed the show. The Canadian has won five in a row and seven of eight dating back to February 2023. Jasudavicius turned 36 years of age this past March. Her time is now and the UFC should continue to push her quickly given her age and how good she's been of late.

FlyweightUFC
February 24, 2025
Jasudavicius will take on Jessica Andrade in a Strawweight bout at UFC 315 on May 10 in Montreal, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Jasudavicius is coming off yet another victory, he fourth straight. She most recently took care of business against Mayra Bueno Silva via unanimous decision back on Feb. 1. She'll look to make it five in a row and push her UFC record to 8-2 against a fighter in Andrade who is significantly more experienced within the promotion but has hit a rough patch, losing four of her last six fights.
Picks up fourth straight win
FlyweightUFC
February 1, 2025
Jasudavicius defeated Mayra Bueno Silva via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
ANALYSIS
It was another standout performance from Jasudavicius, who has now won four in a row and six of seven. Recognizing her massive advantage in the grappling game, Jasmine landed exactly one takedown in each round and finished with 7:11 worth of control time. All the time in top position resulted in a massive 164-41 edge in terms of total strikes landed. The lone concern regarding Jasudavicius moving forward is the fact she will be 36 years of age in March. The UFC should push her significantly so they can find out exactly what it has here.

Jasudavicius will take on Mayra Bueno Silva in a flyweight bout at UFC Saudi Arabia on Feb. 1, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Jasudavicius has won three straight bouts to push her UFC record to 6-2. She most recently defeated Ariane Lipski da Silva with a D'arce Choke back on Nov. 2. Her opponent, meanwhile, is in desperate need of a win. Bueno Silva is in danger of dropping three straight and most recently lost to Macy Chiasson back in June.
Earns stoppage win late
FlyweightUFC
November 2, 2024
Jasudavicius defeated Ariane Lipski via submission (D'arce choke) at 2:28 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Edmonton.
ANALYSIS
It took a round for Jasudavicius to get her act together, but once she did, she was dominant. Jasmine was battered during the striking exchanges early on, but once she got Lipski to the mat, this fight was over. She closed with a 130-43 edge in terms of total strikes landed, almost all of which were from top position. Two of the three judges gave her a 10-8 score in Round 2. Jasudavicius smartly went back to the well in Round 3, landing another takedown before eventually choking Lipski out. Jasmine is a work in progress on the feet, but her mat skills are advanced. The winner of three straight, the greatest thing working against Jasudavicius at this point is the fact she will be 36 years of age next March.
Next fight scheduled

August 14, 2024
Jasudavicius is scheduled to challenge Ariane Lipski in a flyweight matchup at UFC Edmonton on Nov 2, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Jasudavicius received a late-notice opponent change but handled it marvelously, as she defeated Fatime Kline via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night in Denver. The 35-year-old fighter has a 5-2 record with the company and will look to build off this performance in an attempt to secure another victory against Ariane Lipski, who will look to come back from a tough loss that ended her three-fight winning streak.
