Hokit defeated Max Gimenis via TKO (punches) at 0:56 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Hokit earned his UFC opportunity with a second-round knockout win on Dana White's Contender Series in August. He made his official company debut here as the biggest favorite on the card at -430 and rolled. Hokit is known for his wrestling and pace. In this fight, it was his massive power that immediately got Gimenis out of there and would go on to earn him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. All it took was two huge knockdowns and a flurry of unanswered shots. A true character who is excellent on the mic, Hokit spent his post-fight interview calling out Valter Walker. Sounds like a fun one to us.

Hokit defeated Guilherme Uriel via TKO (punches) at 1:06 of Round 2 at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. After the show, he was one of five fighters to be awarded an official UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
Hokit used dominant wrestling to set up his striking here, as he was credited with six takedowns prior to the Round 2 finish that was a result of devastating ground-and-pound. He only absorbed seven significant strikes in the six-plus minutes the bout lasted. The 27-year-old heavyweight and former NFL player had previously competed for both Bellator and LFA, so his 6-0-0 pro record has some substance to it despite his relative inexperience.
