Facing Douglas in Seattle
FeatherweightUFC
January 14, 2026
Erosa will take on Lerryan Douglas in a featherweight bout at UFC Seattle on March 28, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Erosa will be looking to bounce back after a loss at the hands of Melquizael Costa via unanimous decision. That dropped his UFC record to 9-8, and he'll still be searching for win No. 10 when he steps into the Octagon against Douglas, who will make his UFC debut in the bout.

Drops war to Melquizael Costa
FeatherweightUFC
May 17, 2025
Erosa lost to Melquizael Costa via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Erosa had turned back the clock of late, earning three straight stoppage victories in a span of the past 14 months. He came up just short here against Costa, but showed plenty of toughness in the process. Erosa has legitimate power but is a sloppy striker. As a result, he found himself on the short end of a 102-69 count in terms of significant strikes landed. He did managed to land three takedowns in an attempt to close the gap, but it ended up not being enough. Time is most certainly not on the side of "Juicy J" given he'll be 36 years of age in late July, but there's clearly still some gas left in the tank here despite this setback.

ANALYSIS
Erosa, who is coming off a TKO of Darren Elkins in April, will get back in the ring against Melquizael Costa in May. The 35-year-old American will look to keep his current winning streak of three alive at UFC Vegas 106.
Runs winning streak to three

Erosa defeated Darren Elkins via TKO (strikes) at 4:15 of Round 1 at UFC 314 on Saturday in Miami.
ANALYSIS
Erosa isn't going to find himself a -285 favorite over too many guys at this stage of his career, but he did against Elkins and proceeded to take full advantage. Aided by the fact his opponent couldn't take a punch this evening, Erosa simply remained aggressive and kept firing off power shots. The biggest blow of the fight was an early upkick that left Elkins in all sorts of trouble. He never seemed to fully recover, and Erosa floored the gas pedal, eventually getting "The Damage" out of there with 45 seconds remaining in Round 1. Set to turn 36 years of age in late-July, Erosa has won three in a row on the heels of a brief two-fight losing streak.
Set to take on Elkins
FeatherweightUFC
February 10, 2025
Erosa will fight against Darren Elkins at UFC 314 on April 12, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Erosa has pulled the upset in his last two fights, and he's coming off a win over Christian Rodriguez on July 13, 2024. Erosa is 35 years old, but the numbers back him up since he's gone 5-2 in his last seven bouts dating back to September 2021.
Earns another upset submission win
FeatherweightUFC
July 13, 2024
Erosa defeated Christian Rodriguez via submission (guillotine choke) at 4:49 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Denver.
ANALYSIS
It's the second straight upset victory for Erosa and the second that came via first-round guillotine choke. It took multiple mistakes from Ricardo Ramos in his last bout for it to happen, and the same goes for Rodriguez here. Erosa had no prayer of defeating his younger opponent in a technical fight, but Christian was willing to engage "Juicy J" in a back-and-forth brawl. It appeared as if Round 1 would end with Rodriguez in top position, at which point he left his neck exposed and Erosa grabbed hold. Set to turn 35 years of age in late-July, Julian is quite limited at this point in his career, but is somehow 5-2 in his last seven bouts dating back to September 2021.
