Taking on Motta
Sadykhov will take on Nikolas Motta in a lightweight bout at UFC Baku on June 21, per Nolan King of USA Today.
ANALYSIS
Sadykhov will look to remain unbeaten in the UFC, where he currently sits with a 3-0-1 record after taking down Ismael Bonfim (doctor stoppage) back in February. His opponent Motta is also coming off a win but is 3-2 in the promotion. Sadykhov has an inch of height on Motta but gives up and inch and a half of reach.

Remains undefeated in UFC
Sadykhov defeated Ismael Bonfim via TKO (doctor stoppage) at 5:00 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Sadykhov found himself doubled up by Bonfim in terms of total strikes landed in Round 1, but Nazim connected on the far more notable blows, highlighted by a late kick to the face. It opened up a huge cut below Bonfim's eye and left him in dire straits following the opening frame. Referee Mark Smith brought the doctor in and after some discussion, the fight was called off. Originally from Azerbaijan, Sadykhov now trains with Ray Longo and crew on Long Island. He's undefeated in four fights (3-0-1) since making his UFC debut almost exactly two years ago to the day. All three wins have come via stoppage.

Getting Bonfim next
Sadykhov will fight Ismael Bonfim at UFC Vegas 102 on Feb. 15, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Sadykhov could be at risk of showing a bit of rust in February, as he hasn't entered the ring since last November. However, the 30-year-old lightweight has dealt with extended absences before and still has not lost a professional bout since 2018.

No longer fighting in Denver
Sadykhov's fight scheduled against Marquel Mederos for UFC Denver on July 13 has been canceled, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The lightweight matchup already already exhibited an opponent change for Sadykhov, as he was originally supposed to take on Chris Duncan. Now, the fight will altogether be scrapped from the Denver fight night and Sadykhov will continue to search for his first match of 2024.

New opponent in Denver
Sadykhov will instead fight MarQuel Mederos at UFC Denver on Jul. 13, with Chris Duncan withdrawing from the scheduled match, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
The 30-year-old lightweight will still get his scheduled fight in Denver, though the arrangements will change a bit as he instead takes on the rookie UFC fighter Mederos. Sadykhov holds a 2-0-1 record in the UFC, the recent of which being a tie against Slava Borshchev back in November of 2023.
