Snaps brief losing streak
BantamweightUFC
March 15, 2025
Cachoeira defeated Josiane Nunes via KO (punch) at 2:46 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Both women entered having lost each of their past two bouts, and the one that came up short here would almost certainly be looking at a release. Cachoeira responded with a trademark performance, aided by some recklessness on the Nunes side. Now 36 years old, Priscila brings little to the table other than her power. Thus, leave it to Nunes to push forward without a care in the world and get cracked with a fight-ending uppercut. It would go on to earn Cachoeira one of four $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses awarded on the evening. Little should be expected of Cachoeira moving forward, although her roster spot should be secure for one more fight after this win.

February 18, 2025
Cachoeira will face off against Josiane Nunes at UFC Vegas 104 on Mar. 15, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Cachoeira will look to get back on track following two-straight losses against Jasmine Jasudavicius at UFC 297 and Miranda Maverick at UFC 291. The 36-year-old Brazilian fighter is 4-6 during her time with the UFC.
No-shows UFC 297 defeat
BantamweightUFC
January 20, 2024
Cachoeira lost to Jasmine Jasudavicius via submission (anaconda choke) at 4:21 of Round 3 at UFC 297 on Saturday in Toronto.
ANALYSIS
This fight was contested at bantamweight instead of flyweight due to weight cutting issues on Cachoeira's end. The extra ten pounds on her frame did not help. The Brazilian was dominated from bell-to-bell, absorbing a ridiculous 326 total strikes before tapping out with less than a minute to go. Cachoeira has some power in her hands, but that's about it. As soon as it gets to the ground or turns into a technical battle, she's in a world of trouble. Now 35 years old and having been submitted in back-to-back bouts, Cachoeira likely needs a win her next time out to save her job.
Fight bumped to bantamweight

January 19, 2024
Cachoeira's scheduled flyweight fight against Jasmine Jasudavicius at UFC 297 on Saturday has been moved to bantamweight due to weight-cutting issues on Cachoeira's end, MMA journalist James Lynch reports.
ANALYSIS
No word has yet surfaced whether Cachoeira will be surrendering a percentage of her fight purse to her opponent's camp in exchange for the late adjustment. As of Friday morning, Cachoeira was listed as approximately a (+300) underdog for the matchup.
