Dumas lost to Michal Oleksiejczuk via TKO (strikes) at 2:49 of Round 1 at UFC 314 on Saturday in Miami.

It was a dreadful performance from Dumas. He appeared jumpy and out of sorts from the very start and was never able to get on track. He was eventually dropped by a combination and finished with a barrage of follow-up shots. Dumas was visibly upset with the stoppage, but referee Marc Goddard gave him multiple chances to get his act together, and it clearly wasn't happening. The definition of roster depth, Dumas is sporting a 3-3 record in his first half-dozen UFC bouts.

He also tired significantly in Round 3, losing the frame on two of the three scorecards. Dumas is athletic and a reasonably effective striker, but he doesn't appear to have one single elite skill to fall back upon in the event of trouble. Dumas has fought a whopping five times since debuting in March 2023. He's 3-2 with the UFC.
