Dumas defeated Denis Tiuliulin via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
ANALYSIS
It was a thoroughly underwhelming performance from Dumas despite the fact he got the win. Facing an opponent who entered having suffered three straight stoppage defeats, Dumas' most effective offensive attack was pinning Tiuliulin up against the cage. He also tired significantly in Round 3, losing the frame on two of the three scorecards. Dumas is athletic and a reasonably effective striker, but he doesn't appear to have one single elite skill to fall back upon in the event of trouble. Dumas has fought a whopping five times since debuting in March 2023. He's 3-2 with the UFC.
