ANALYSIS
Song was able to get back into the win column his last time out versus Rolando Bedoya in August -- his first victory since February 2020. He will face an opponent who has less experience with the UFC but hasn't dropped a fight in his professional career since July 2022.

First win since February 2020
Song defeated Rolando Bedoya via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Singapore.
ANALYSIS
Entering having lost back-to-back fights via knockout (Ian Garry, Max Griffin), Song almost certainly needed a win to extend his time with the company, and he got it as a +285 underdog. Song deserves credit for rebounding following a slow start. He picked up his activity over the course of the final ten minutes, highlighted by a Round 3 knockdown. Now 33 years of age, the victory is Song's first since February 23, 2020, a first-round knockout of Callan Potter.

Set for August fight
Song will take on Rolando Bedoya at UFC Singapore on August 26, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Song will look to break a two-fight skid and is in search of his first win in over three years. He will face an inexperienced fighter in Bedoya, who dropped a decision to Khaos Williams via split decision in his UFC debut in May. At 33 years old, If Song can't overcome Bedoya, it's possible his tenure in the UFC could come to an end.

Fades late in knockout loss
Song lost to Ian Garry via TKO (punches) at 4:22 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Song had a real chance to pull the upset here, which is all you can ask from any fighter that enters as a +550 underdog. He accomplished next to nothing nearly the entire opening round before one massive left hand floored Garry. Song pushed the pace in hopes of the finish, but his opponent managed to survive the frame, and Song's chances of winning went up in smoke as a result. Song's power is legitimate, but his stand-up defense is poor, and he has questionable chin. It makes for a lousy combination. The soon-to-be 33-year-old has now lost back-to-back fights on the heels of a brief two-fight winning streak.

Will take on Garry
Kenan is set to square off against Song Kenan in a welterweight bout at UFC 285 in Las Vegas on March 4, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Kenan is looking to bounce back from a loss to Max Griffin at UFC Fight Night this past March via a Round 1 TKO. Overall, he boasts a 4-2 record in the company. He will not have an easy matchup, as his opponent, Garry, is considered a top prospect.
