Finds range after slow start
Cuamba defeated Chang Ho Lee via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It was a highly competitive bout, exactly what you'd expect from a fight that went off as a pick 'em. Quite frankly, Cuamba was lucky to survive Round 1. He was controlled by Lee for 4:52 of the opening five minutes and seemingly had nothing going. He was a bit better in Round 2, serving to drain Lee's gas tank in the process. Cuamba, on the other hand, got stronger as the fight progressed. He was the only one with any energy left in Round 3 and was able to parlay a stellar final frame into the decision victory. Timmy has won two in a row after dropping his first couple bouts with the company.

Locked in vs. Lee
Cuamba will face Chang Ho Lee in a featherweight bout at UFC Vegas 110 on November 1, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Cuamba picked up a crucial win in his last fight, besting Roberto Romero with a flying knee in the second round of a fight back in April. That snapped a two-bout losing streak, and brought his UFC record up to 1-2. He'll look to even his record in the promotion and ride his momentum against Lee, who's off to a flawless 2-0 start in the UFC and has yet to lose a professional fight since 2022.

Finally earns first UFC victory
Cuamba defeated Roberto Romero via TKO (strikes) at 3:55 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
A loser in each of his first two UFC bouts, Cuamba almost certainly would have been handed his walking papers if he came up short here. He got the job done, but it didn't come easy. Cuamba landed the more damaging blows the entire bout, but that didn't stop all three judges from scoring Round 1 for Romero. Cuamba made it all a moot point after finding the stoppage in the latter stages of Round 2. Still just 26 years old, Timmy, a Las Vegas native, is getting high-end training every single day with the crew at Xtreme Couture. He'll get at least one more shot with the company.

Set to fight Romero
Cuamba will fight Roberto Romero at UFC Kansas City on April 26, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Cuamba remains in search of his first UFC win, and the fight against Romero could be the perfect opportunity as he shares the same yearning. The pair are a combined 0-3 in the UFC, but one will come out victorious and end up in the win column in the Kansas City showdown.

Still searching for first UFC win
Cuamba lost to Lucas Almeida via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
The highlight of Cuamba's evening was that he saw the final bell. That typically isn't that big of a deal, especially when you enter as a -190 favorite, but Cuamba was dropped by Almeida on no less than three occasions and somehow managed to survive. From an offensive standpoint, Cuamba's lone impressive moments came in the dying minutes when the bout was long out of hand. Still just 25 years of age, Cuamba picked up a win on Dana White's Contender Series last August, but has lost each of his first two UFC fights via decision. He may have to go back to the regional circuit to regain his confidence before taking another crack at the highest level.

Will face Almeida
Cuamba will take on Lucas Almeida in a lightweight bout at UFC Vegas 93 on June 15, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Cuamba hasn't lost much in recent years, but in his first ever UFC fight, he fell at the hands of Bolaji Oki via split decision. He'll try to even his record in the UFC, as will his opponent Almeida, who currently sits at 1-2 in the promotion. Cuamba is two inches shorter than his opponent but boasts the same wingspan, and this should be an intriguing fight between two lesser-known fighters trying to make a name for themselves.
