The 20-year-old has made quite a name for himself in the various ARCA Menards Series and is now ready for his first action in the Craftsman Truck Series. Reggiero's efforts caught the attention of TRICON Garage and they signed him to take over the seat of the No. 17 Toyota. Taylor Gray piloted this truck last season to good results with 14 Top-10 finishes and a strong sixth-place points finish. Under Gray's guidance the team flirted with victory lane a couple times but couldn't cash in. Ruggiero will be teamed with crew chief, Jerame Donley, and his two seasons of truck series experience. Ruggiero finished third in the Fresh from Florida 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway on Friday night.
ANALYSIS It was quite the way for the young driver to kick off his rookie campaign in 2025. Ruggiero would have some close brushes early in this caution-filled battle, but he would manage to lead an impressive 11 total laps. Ruggiero would find his way towards the front in the closing laps. The young driver would avoid the big spins and accidents on the final lap to collect a strong third-place finish in his Craftsman Truck Series debut.
