Multiple drivers piloted this team to just three Top-20 finishes last season. They'll tab Van Alst and Maggio for most of the team's starts in 2025. However, we wouldn't rule out other drivers wiggling in there and taking some additional starts. Gase's team will look to improve on last season with improved consistency and better finishes. The team racked up a staggering 10 DNF's and four DNQ's, so there's a lot of room for improvement. This small team faces many challenges and not the least of which is their sponsorship and funding. Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen confirmed the signing of ARCA Menards Series veteran driver and race winner Van Alst to compete in a majority of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule, Racing America reports.
ANALYSIS He'll compete in a majority of the races in the team's No. 35 Chevrolet in 2025. Van Alst has spent much of the last four seasons competing in the ARCA/Menards Series with some limited action in the Xfinity Series. The veteran driver will increase his workload in the coming year and form the backbone of a two-car effort for Joey Gase Motorsports.
