Hadjar finished 11th in the Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Marina Bay Circuit on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
A good qualifying effort would put the young Racing Bulls driver eighth on the starting grid. However, hopes for points in Singapore would eventually fade for Hadjar. He would start the race on soft tyres and be among the earliest to pit for fresh rubber. That would result in Hadjar rejoining in P17 and having to deal with a lot of traffic. In addition he would also be experiencing engine issues and that would hinder his progress. Hadjar would recover to P10 near the end of the race but would lose a spot late to Carlos Sainz as he would be on fresher tyres.
