The Racing Bulls youngster would have a great performance in Las Vegas. It all started with a strong qualifying effort and P8 starting position. Hadjar would grab three spots on the opening lap thanks to a hectic battle and contact among multiple drivers. He would surrender a couple of those spots just before his lone pit stop on lap 20. However, Hadjar would rejoin P11 and begin his drive back to the front. He would settle in behind Carlos Sainz and chase him all the way to the finish. Hadjar would originally credited with a P8 finish but promote two spots after the race due to the double McLaren disqualification.
