Lawson overcame a tough September and October to rebound into the points Sunday at Interlagos. A strong qualifying effort would put the young driver seventh on the starting grid. Lawson would grab a couple spots in the early laps due to incidents and safety cars. A lap 19 pit stop would drop him back in the order but he'd race his way back into the mid-field undaunted. Lawson would run a huge second stint in a one-stop gambit and it would pay off. He'd lose a spot down the stretch to Oliver Bearman but would hang onto a solid P7 at the checkered flag.
