Struggles in Abu Dhabi
Formula One
November 20, 2022
Gasly finished 14th in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix F1 race at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Gasly would start a distant 17th on the grid after qualifying struggles relegated him to the back of the grid. The AlphaTauri star would net one position before his first pit stop of the day. Gasly would slip to the rear after new tyres and begin clawing his way through the bottom third of the field. He'd race up to as high at 13th-place on the one pit stop strategy, but fade one spot to P14 by the checkered flag. Gasly will now head to Alpine next season and look for better results in 2023.
