2025 Fantasy Outlook
Byron had easily the best campaign of his six-season Cup Series career in 2023. He marched to six victories, 15 Top-5 and 21 Top-10 finishes, all new career highs. The driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet participated in his first championship race in Phoenix as one of the title contenders and did not disappoint. Byron nabbed the pole position and led 95 laps before eventually fading to fourth-place and an impressive third-place finish in the final standings. He was hot throughout the playoffs with one pole position, one victory, two runner-up finishes and six Top 5's during the Chase for the Cup. That dominance and excellence should carry in to the new season. Byron and crew chief, Rudy Fugle, have things humming along like a well-oiled machine and we may not have seen their very best just yet. Read Past Outlooks
Wins the Xfinity 500
Byron won the Xfinity 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday afternoon.
ANALYSIS
The Hendrick Motorsports star dominated from the pole and would lead a race-high 304 laps on the day. Byron would sweep the first two stages but would face a strong challenge from Ryan Blaney late. He would chase down and retake the lead from the No. 12 Ford down the stretch and survive a late caution and restart to capture the victory over Blaney. It was Byron's third win of the season and 16th-career victory. He'll race for the championship next weekend in Phoenix.
