Fernandes registered one shot (zero on goal), six crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Sunday's 3-0 defeat versus Manchester City.

Fernandes was told to take on a more central role again Sunday and struggled to be the playmaker he usually is, registering a decent six crosses but only adding one shot and two chances created. That said, the attacker still has one goal in four appearances this season, but doesn't seem to be himself in this role, possibly a sign for the future if he doesn't take on a more attacking role moving forward.
