Nketiah (hamstring) will be sidelined for Saturday's match against Sunderland but is expected to return later this month, manager Oliver Glasner told media during his pre-match press conference Friday. "At the moment it looks like [Adam] Wharton, [Ismaïla] Sarr and [Eddie] Nketiah are available at least against Liverpool, so in two weeks. That's a great job from our medical department. Tomorrow none of them are available. Millwall, none of them is available, maybe Adam and Eddie have a chance for West Ham."

Nketiah suffered a hamstring injury in pre-season. He was initially expected to be sidelined for around eight weeks, and the timeline seems about right. Based on Glasner's words, even though an appearance against West Ham might be too soon, it hasn't been ruled out yet. A more conservative approach would put him ready to return against Liverpool on Saturday, Sep. 27.
