Back earlier than expected
FCrystal Palace
November 29, 2024
Nketiah (hamstring) is set to join the squad for Saturday's match against Newcastle. "They [Nketiah] worked pretty hard in their rehab, and also the medical staff did an amazing job, so that's why they are available earlier than expected" said manager Oliver Glasner.
ANALYSIS
Nketiah is back earlier than expected after suffering a hamstring injury just before the international break. He will try his chances for a starting role in the attack, though will have to compete with Ismaila Sarr and Justin Devenny for that, having missing two games with his injury. Nketiah managed to start all but one game played this campaign, failing to land on the scoreboard with 17 shots (six on target).

Nketiah is being linked with a move to Crystal Palace before the transfer window closes Friday, according to The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Nketiah's proposed deal to Nottingham Forest broke down, but that doesn't mean the striker won't leave Arsenal this summer. Crystal Palace are open to signing the 25-year-old, but it's unclear if both teams will have enough time to get a deal done before the end of the transfer window Friday.
