Martinelli scored one goal and assisted once from one shot and one chance created in Tuesday's 2-0 win against Athletic.

Martinelli had it all working in Tuesday's match. He factored in on both of Arsenals' goals, subbing in at the 71st minute and immediately scoring on his only shot of the match, and adding an assist on Leandro Trossard's 87th minute strike. He also got his teammates involved creating one chance. A performance this strong in his 2025-26 UCL debut could be a sign of things to come for the forward, and could lead to more playing time in Arsenals' high octane attack.
