2025 Fantasy Outlook
Martinelli continued to struggle to live up to the hype of his breakout 2022/23 campaign, as he finished 2024/25 with eight goals and four assists. The left winger still gets plenty of chances in the starting XI but his production as a creator and finisher have been wasteful. Martinelli finished with 40 chances created and 55 shots, both fewer than he managed in 2023/24. The talent and situation are there for a bounce back, but a season with 20 or more goal contributions seems less and less likely by the season.
Out until international break
Martinelli (strain) is targeting a return for a Nov. 23 north London derby, according to James McNicholas of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Martinelli is expected to be out until after the international break due to a muscle injury. The winger has hopes of returning immediately after the break, so there's some hope that it's not serious. Leandro Trossard should take on more minutes while Martinelli is sidelined.

Staying at Arsenal
Arsenal could've parted ways with Martinelli in the summer, according to The Daily Mail.
ANALYSIS
Arsenal were open to selling the 24-year-old Brazil winger this summer. However, their £60 million asking price put off clubs, as most sides valued him closer to £40 million. Due to the arrival of Eberechi Eze, Martinelli is expected to play a secondary role at Arsenal in 2025/26.
