Outside of a brief injury spell, Madueke delivered a solid 2024/25 season with seven goals and three assists. He's shown plenty of growth in a short period with Chelsea, and now he's made a big-money move to Arsenal. He will provide depth behind Bukayo Saka, and also compete for starts with Gabriel Martinelli. It's a big statement of trust in the inconsistent winger by Arsenal, but he has shown his potential to continue to grow. His upside takes a hit in a side where he's less likely to play a major role, but if he can take the starting job from Martinelli he would join one of the best attacks in the league.

The winger whipped in plenty of crosses with Declan Rice out, fulfilling that role for Arsenal. He was less accurate than the Gunners may have liked him to be but fit in the offense well. Madueke will likely be on the bench with Rice expected to play in the Champions League game against Athletic, but Mikel Arteta has shown he's not afraid to play different lineups.
