Mateta is hopeful of making a return during Friday's training session after being ruled out for Thursday's clash with Shelbourne. The forward has only gone 60 minutes in the last two Premier League matches, and it seems a nagging knee issue has been the reason for it. Mateta has been streaky in front of goal this season but has started every Premier League match for Palace.
