Joelinton News: Hoping to get minutes over holidays

Joelinton is getting closer to fitness ahead of Friday's trip to Manchester, according to manager Eddie Howe. "Joelinton is getting closer now to be able to participate. We'll see how he trains today [Tuesday] and how he looks."

Joelinton remains in the squad, but he hasn't played in the last two contests with his last appearance being 60 minutes Dec. 10 against Leverkusen. Given the bodies available, there's no reason to push him with a groin problem and it's likely his next appearance will be from the bench with Jacob Ramsey doing well in the match against Chelsea.
