Jurrien Timber Injury: Won't play Wednesday
Timber is out for Wednesday's match against Kairat after missing training Tuesday, according to manager Mikel Arteta. "No, [Jurrien is] not (available). It's a good opportunity now that we make a different kind of work with them to get them in the best possible condition for the weekend, hopefully."
Timber was unable to join his teammates in training the day before their final UCL league stage match and will miss out, leaving the club without another defender after the absence of William Saliba (undisclosed). This comes despite no worries of an injury previously, playing the full 90 in the last game. That said, this will force a change for the time being, with Ben White the leading candidate to start at right-back in his spot, with Timber eyeing a return against Leeds United on Saturday.
