Jurrien Timber
24-Year-Old
Arsenal
Premier
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Timber is a versatile defender who opened the season at left-back but finished as the top choice at right-back due to other injuries in the squad. He's not a major offensive threat with one goal and three assists in 30 appearances, though he does offer more from right-back where he produced all of those goal contributions playing behind Bukayo Saka. With a full season at right-back he has a path to a handful of goal contributions in addition to defensive upside, as Arsenal finished second in clean sheets in the Premier League last season. Timber's ability to play on either side of the back line should keep him in the XI as long as he remains fit, something worth following as he finished the 2024/25 campaign early to undergo ankle surgery.
Logs assist
Timber assisted once to go with three shots (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Aston Villa.
ANALYSIS
Timber was a bit lucky to be credited with an assist as his deflection fell perfectly to Leandro Trossard, who slotted home Arsenal's third goal. The defender might have more to do defensively Saturday against a Bournemouth team which has scored 29 goals but could also get another assist, as the club has allowed 35 goals in 19 games.
