Paik scored a goal off his lone shot and made three tackles (two won) during Monday's 4-1 loss against Brazil.

Paik made his World Cup debut, being brought off the bench in the 65th minute with his side already losing by four and could at least leave the pitch with a memorable moment, scoring South Korea's consolation goal with a spectacular long-range shot in the 76th minute.
