Out two months from surgery

OUT
December 17, 2022
Kouyate (hamstring) has been ruled out for "at least the next two months," according to manager Steve Cooper per the Nottingham Post.
ANALYSIS
Kouyate sustained a torn hamstring during Senegal's first group stage match of the World Cup. Subsequent scans apparently indicated that surgery was the appropriate course of action, and he'll now be sidelined for "10 to 12 weeks," according to Cooper. "We'll miss him for sure," he added. It's expected that Orel Mangala and Remo Freuler vacuum up most of the available midfield minutes in his absence.
