Chacon will not be an option for Saturday's match against San Jose due to an apparent knee injury, according to the MLS injury report.

Chacon has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Rapids after getting promoted from the reserve team, the club announced Monday. He's also been sent out on a six-month loan to Costa Rican side Alajuelense for the remainder of 2023.
