McKenna will miss the rest of the season after fracturing his collarbone in Saturday's match against Liverpool, according to manager Steve Cooper. "He's a great professional who always gives his best in everything he does, so for him to suffer the bad luck that he has with this injury is really unfortunate."
ANALYSIS
McKenna couldn't catch a break in the second half of the season, as he only just returned from a hamstring injury. He started the first 14 matches of the season and then he was benched and injuries eventually led to time on the sidelines. Now, he'll have to wait things out to see if Forest can stay in the league with Joe Worrall an option to replace him in the XI. After starting all 48 matches in the Championship, McKenna started 19 contests this season en route to five clean sheets.
