Driussi has completed a move from Austin FC to River Plate, his former club announced Friday.

Driussi was coming off a down year in 2024, but he was one of the best playmakers in MLS when he was at his peak. Driussi joined Austin FC as a Designated Player in the summer of 2021 and went on to become the club's all-time leading scorer, netting 51 goals in 115 appearances for Austin across all competitions. Austin now has a DP slot available to fill before the start of the 2025 MLS regular season.
