Davis brought in two of four targets for 28 yards during the Stallions' 18-11 loss to the Defenders in Week 1. He also returned one punt for 12 yards.

Davis' reception, yardage and target totals, modest as they were, led the Stallions on an afternoon where quarterback Alex McGough completed less than 50.0 percent of his throws. Davis spent time on the practice squad of the NFL's Commanders in 2024, but when he last played in the spring, he recorded a stellar 39-575-4 line for the Stallions in 2023 on the way to Birmingham's second consecutive USFL title. The Sam Houston State product therefore carries plenty of upside, although McGough's gradual reacclimation to the quarterback position after attempting to convert to wide receiver in 2024 while on the Packers' practice squad could cap the receiver's early-season production.
