Mond completed 17 of 31 passes for 159 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed three times for 19 yards during the Brahmas' 33-9 loss to the Renegades in Week 1.

ANALYSIS
Mond's final numbers were serviceable if unspectacular, but he didn't come close to helping the Brahmas keep pace with a very efficient Renegades offense. The 2021 third-round pick of the NFL's Vikings should be afforded plenty of slack this season as he get his first extended taste of pro football action, and Mond did a good job of distributing the ball to top three receivers Jacob Harris, Jontre Kirklin and Greg Ward, who tallied four catches apiece while drawing 20 of the quarterback's pass attempts. Mond will aim for a sharper performance in a Week 2 Sunday evening road battle versus the Battlehawks.
