Parker-Tyus had a career-best year in 2023, averaging 15.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 blocks in 26.7 minutes per game. However, she started in just 11 of her 25 regular-season appearances in 2024 and averaged 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 19.7 minutes per game before missing the second half of the season due to an ankle injury. She signed a training camp contract with the Aces during the offseason but announced in April that she's pregnant and will miss at least the first three months of the regular season. She hopes to return to the court late in the year, but her fantasy potential is limited for 2025, even if she's able to make it back to game action this year. Parker-Tyus announced Friday that she's pregnant and will miss at least the first three months of the 2025 WNBA season, Callie Fin of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Parker spent her third season in Atlanta in 2023 and had the best statistical year of her career. She appeared in every game and made 38 starts, averaging a career-high 15.0 points and 6.7 rebounds in 26.7 minutes per game. She’s appeared in every game over the past two seasons, an encouraging development after she made just 13 appearances in 2021. The 31-year-old has had plenty of playing time across the past two years and should continue to play a prominent role for a Dream squad on the rise in 2024. Even with her uptick in usage, Parker still had lackluster performances from time to time last year. However, she also displays considerable upside and should have an opportunity to maintain her workload in 2024.
