2025 Fantasy Outlook
The Lynx made several acquisitions ahead of the 2024 campaign that put them back into title contention, but Collier remained the focal point for the team in her second year removed from maternity leave. She missed five games ahead of the All-Star break due to a foot injury but still appeared in 34 regular-season matchups, averaging 20.4 points to go with career-high marks of 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.4 blocks in 34.7 minutes per game. The 28-year-old has seen her numbers increase in her two seasons following her pregnancy, and that trend should continue in 2025 as the Lynx attempt to secure their first championship since 2017. On mend from ankle ligament tears
Collier is expected to face a six-week recovery after sustaining a Grade 2 tear of three ligaments in her left ankle and a muscle in her shin during a collision with the Mercury's Alyssa Thomas last Friday in Game 3 of a WNBA Semifinals series, Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Lynx were ultimately eliminated when Collier sat out the team's Game 4 loss to the Mercury on Sunday, but the 29-year-old forward wouldn't have been available for the WNBA Finals even if Minnesota had advanced. Given the estimated recovery timeline for her injuries, Collier is expected to return to full health in advance of the three-on-three Unrivaled league's second season, which is set to begin in January. Though an injury to her right ankle cost Collier some time in August, she still earned her fifth All-Star nod in 2025. She averaged a career-high 22.9 points in 33 games while joining Elena Delle Donne as the second player in WNBA history to shoot at least 50 percent from the field (53.1), 40 percent from three-point range (40.3) and 90 percent from the free-throw line (90.6) in a season.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
2022
Collier made just four appearances in 2022 after missing most of the year while on maternity leave. However, she returned to dominance in 2023, making 37 appearances and averaging a career-best 21.5 points. She also averaged 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks in 33.5 minutes per game. The 27-year-old was among the top fantasy options before her pregnancy, and it was encouraging to see her return to form following her lengthy absence. She posted just 12 double-doubles on just 12 occasions last year, but she was a continual threat in the scoring and rebounding columns while also regularly pitching in on the defensive side of the ball. Teammates Diamond Miller and Dorka Juhasz showed promise as rookies last year, and the Lynx acquired Courtney Williams, Alanna Smith and Natisha Hiedeman during the offseason. However, Collier should remain the clear focal point of Minnesota's system in 2024. Collier has been an elite fantasy contributor since entering the league in 2017, and availability hasn't been a concern outside of when she was on maternity leave in 2022. Fantasy managers with a pick early in the first round of drafts should have no reservations about selecting Collier.
