                2025 Fantasy Outlook

Cloud was traded to the Mercury for the 2024 season after spending the first eight years of her career in Washington, but her production remained steady with her new team despite playing alongside scoring threats like Diana Taurasi and Kahleah Copper. Cloud averaged 11.5 points, 6.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 33.3 minutes per game but was on the move during the offseason, as she was initially traded to the Sun before being moved to New York. Cloud should have a chance to remain productive with her new team after Courtney Vandersloot signed with the Sky. While the 33-year-old Cloud will be playing for the defending champions, she has slightly more scoring upside than Vandersloot while also offering decent production as a passer. Cloud had a successful season in Phoenix and should have plenty of opportunities in New York, making her an intriguing mid-round fantasy option. Showcases all-around dominance
Cloud supplied 23 points (9-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, five assists and four steals in 40 minutes during Sunday's 76-69 Game 1 win over Phoenix in overtime.
				  ANALYSIS
Cloud got some rest during Thursday's regular-season finale, but she saw plenty of work during Sunday's overtime victory to begin the playoffs. She matched her highest scoring total of the season while also posting her second-highest total in steals. The Liberty will now return home for Wednesday's Game 2 with a chance to put the series away.

Cloud has been one of the better point guards in the WNBA over the last few seasons. She set a new career-high mark with 12.7 points per game in 2023 while adding 3.7 rebounds (also a career best), 6.2 assists and 1.1 steals. While the veteran shot just 37.7 percent from the floor -- her lowest mark since 2017 -- she was among the league's best free-throw shooters, knocking down 3.4 makes per game at a 90.0 percent clip. The 32-year-old suggested during the offseason that she was open to leaving the Mystics, and she signed a two-year deal with Phoenix at the beginning of February. Cloud's scoring marks have improved over the past two seasons, and she should have plenty of opportunities to rack up assists as part of a Mercury lineup that includes Brittney Griner, Diana Taurasi, Kahleah Copper and Rebecca Allen. Cloud is unlikely to be the primary option for field-goal attempts with her new club, but she'll likely continue to have enough well-rounded production to make her a solid fantasy option with top-40 upside.
