2025 Fantasy Outlook
Bueckers dealt with injuries in the first half of her collegiate career but led UConn to the Final Four in 2024 and helped the Huskies win the national title in 2025. She was unsurprisingly selected by Dallas with the No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft and will play alongside another strong guard in Arike Ogunbowale with the Wings. Caitlin Clark made an immediate impact at the professional level as a rookie last year, and Bueckers should have plenty of opportunities to contribute as a scorer despite playing alongside Ogunbowale, who finished second in the WNBA with 22.2 points per game last year. However, Bueckers has less fantasy upside than Clark as a rookie since the UConn product isn't as dominant from beyond the arc and doesn't produce as much as a passer or rebounder. Despite these factors, Bueckers should still be a solid contributor for the rebuilding Wings in 2025 and warrants consideration in the early-to-mid rounds of fantasy drafts. Read Past Outlooks
