Ty France

France's numbers have been in steady decline and he faces an uncertain future in Major League Baseball. The Mariners designated him for assignment in July, a little over two years after he represented Seattle in the All-Star game. Tough business. Cincinnati brought him in and France took advantage of the comfy confines of Great American Ball Park to boost his batting average, but it was a largely forgettable run nonetheless. His limited defensive utility puts a ton of pressure on his bat. When he's not hitting, it becomes tough to justify keeping him on a big-league roster.
