Alec Marsh

Marsh was a pleasant surprise for the Royals in 2025 winning a career-best 9 games with a 15.3% K-BB% until a bum shoulder shut him down later in the season. Marsh ended up needing labrum surgery on his throwing shoulder in October and is extremely unlikely to resume pitching in regular season games in 2026. Perhaps Marsh could do what Kris Bubic did previously and come back as a reliever toward the end of the season to prepare for 2027, but you can safely ignore Marsh for your draft plans for this coming season due to the extensive rehab process required for pitchers requiring labrum surgery.
