Chicago Cubs
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Turner was beginning to look his age early on last season. He slashed just .217/.305/.349 with Toronto through the end of May and was later traded rather unceremoniously to Seattle. His power rebounded a bit following the move, but Turner still finished with just 11 home runs in 539 total plate appearances, marking his second time falling below 15 homers in the last three seasons. A two-time All-Star during his legendary tenure with the Dodgers, he ended up well above league average by wRC+ last season, which is rather remarkable given his awful start to the campaign. Eventually, it will be the end for real, but the now 40-year-old Turner seems fully intent on continuing to play in 2025 and reports suggest there are multiple teams interested in his services.
